The lighting above the dining room table is sleek and unobstructed. It grounds the dining room space without the need for walls. The silver finish on the lighting fixtures adds to the modern elegance of the room. The designers added finishes in the kitchen that ties the entire look together for a seamless design throughout the space.
Stainless steel appliances with a custom hood streamline nicely with the cabinets’ natural wood and white tones. The hood mounts on the ceiling, creating more available counter space. They also add a touch of modernity, playing off the metallic cabinet fixtures and décor.
The island features bar-style seating on the outside, with enough counter space to seat six people, and features a cooktop stove and sink.
Two golden pendant lights were placed above the island in the kitchen, creating an atmosphere of chic elegance. They also add visual interest and continue the theme of cool-toned steel paired against cool gold tones.
Two contemporary barn doors keep the pantry within reach but tastefully hidden when not in use. The white tones of the door reference the white cabinetry of the island and provide a nice break in the wooden cabinets.
The kitchen features a white, chevron-style backsplash that adds contrast and visual interest to the straight lines. The chevron style also adds more modern touches to the overall look.
