The finished space.

Shaker cabinets are paired with sleek, modern fixtures to blend traditional cabinetry with contemporary silver finishes. An electric stove and built-in oven installed on the island also add a sense of contemporary sophistication and function.
Barstool seating on one side of the island offers the perfect breakfast area and adds an industrial look that is equal parts traditional and contemporary.
Round pendant lights provide lighting over the island and offer a sense of warmth with a modern twist. The kitchen is also open to the dining room, with sightlines that peer into the dining room and living room beyond. A backsplash of small gray tiles helps break up the all-white color scheme.
