Elena Kaminskiy was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. She immigrated to the United States with her family when she was three years old. Growing up, Elena was involved in several of her parent’s family businesses. From helping her parents clean commercial offices for their own janitorial business in her early teens to being promoted to the manager of her father’s coffee shop at 17, Elena has been immersed in the business world from an early age. In 2004 she met Sergei Kaminskiy, and the two were married the following year. Soon after, the couple opened their company, formerly known as “SDC Handyman Service Plus.” Today, Kaminskiy Design and Remodeling has grown into an award-winning, full-service design and remodeling company in San Diego. Sergei and Elena have three kids together, a 13-year-old girl and an 11 and 1-year-old boy.
Elena is the company’s Chief Financial Officer, or CFO. She manages Kaminskiy’s various daily business operations to ensure that it strives and upholds its commitment to being San Diego’s leading quality remodeler. Her desire is to make Kaminskiy Design and Remodeling stand out in this competitive market while retaining its excellent reputation. In addition to her professional work, Elena enjoys working with local charities. She volunteers with an elderly charity that assists seniors that are living alone. She also loves reading, traveling, working out, and interior design. Aside from her professional and volunteer work, Elena loves spending time with her family and being a wife and mother to her three children.
